the movie is essentially the same so i think the only thing i can say is that i like sarah michelle gellar and the cgi (for the most part) takes away the charm of the original and doesnt enhance the scariness except for 1 scene which is the jawless scene, that one was pretty cool to see
i will say that kayako looks scary here, in the japanese 2002 version she is scary but she also has bangs that make her look pretty lol
the ending scene felt so american
